    For 19 years, we've built this store side by side as sisters, pouring our hearts into the pieces our mother Margaret first dreamed of in 1978.

    Last year, we simply bought too much fall. Coats, cardigans, heavy knits — we believed in every piece and ordered more than we needed. Then the season came and went, and many of those pieces never left our shelves.

    We're not making that mistake twice. So this year, we're starting early, while it's still warm outside and most people aren't thinking about sweaters just yet.

    Nothing is closing, and we're not going out of business. We simply overbought, and we'd much rather see these pieces worn and loved than keep storing them.
